Our flagship year-long programme for women who want to develop their career in a structured and supportive environment
Crossing Thresholds has transformed the lives of over 2,000 women across the UK and internationally - and there’s a decade’s worth of testimonials that prove it.
The women we work with learn how to define what they want from their career and their life, and how to achieve it. This is foundational work; challenging, inspiring and stretching participants to achieve more than they could have expected. Mentoring partnerships are cornerstone of the programme to enable participants to benefit from the experience and perspective of senior colleagues.
We conduct a survey of graduates one year after completing the course, and find that an average of 75% have been promoted or have moved into a more suitable job. In addition, over 90% felt more confident and had a clearer sense of direction, with 98% stating they would recommend Crossing Thresholds to others.
Crossing Thresholds graduates leave the programme with:
- Increased clarity in terms of career direction
- A strategic plan to help them pursue their goals
- Greater confidence in their abilities
- Enhanced interview and communication skills
- An ongoing and supportive network of peers
I have secured a promotion to a new department and I can’t thank Crossing Thresholds enough!! Although I undertook my CT programme what seems like many moons ago, the principles I learnt have been part of the bedrock for how I approach both my personal and professional life.
